The mounting hole spacing of fleXer propellers is adapted to the standards and specifications of individual engines. A propeller dedicated to a specific engine means that, in addition to aerodynamic parameters, it has at least one array of holes to allow proper installation. It is also possible to prepare a propeller with additional holes according to customer preferences.
\nWe also usually use different universal sets of holes. This is often a set of A+B, A+C, A+C+D. If, for example, the A+B set causes the holes to touch each other, it is not an accident or error. All hole arrangements have been tested and provide the needed fastening strength. Remember that fleXer propellers are extremely light and the main destructive forces are derived from the mass and its inertia or centrifugal force. <\/p>\n
For ease of communication, we have named the different spacings.<\/p>\n
Holes A<\/strong> – 6xM6\/D50 Bolt tightening torques:<\/strong> Remember that over-tightening the screws can cause unnecessary destruction of the hub. Too weak can cause the bolts to unscrew on their own. These components should be inspected every time before flight. <\/p>\n Please note that a new fleXer propeller may have holes that are quite tight when first used, even requiring screws that will not want to pass loosely through the hub holes. This may require more time the first time it is installed, but this effect is intentional, as we have found that this minor discomfort positively affects precise, centric installation and pays off in the future.
